FOR LOCAL SERVICE BUSINESS OWNERS
Make it easier for the next interested customer to reach you.
Make it easier for interested customers to reach you. The Local Service Inquiry Pilot improves one service page, one website inquiry route, and the follow-up that comes next.
You are busy doing the work. A potential customer visits your website, cannot find a clear next step, and leaves. Or an inquiry arrives while you are on a job and gets buried before you can respond.
Let’s examine that gap and agree on one practical improvement you can use and measure.
Start with a fit inquiry. Scope, price, delivery dates, and terms are agreed in writing before payment.
For a business with customers—and a website that needs a clearer job.
This pilot is designed for local service businesses that already sell a defined service and want visitors to request a quote, ask about availability, or arrange a conversation.
You supply the service details, website access through an appropriate secure process, and a person responsible for responding. We focus on one service and one location or service area.
Service-page, inquiry-form, and follow-up improvements
The proposed pilot scope covers:
- One service-page improvement. Clarify who you serve, what you provide, the service area, common questions, and one primary action.
- One inquiry route. Connect or repair a form or booking route using your existing supported tools, with fields that help you respond.
- A clear acknowledgment. Explain what happens after an inquiry and set a response expectation your business can meet. Automated email setup depends on the agreed platform and sender configuration.
- Three follow-up message drafts. A first response, a helpful check-in, and a final invitation to reconnect, tailored to the service requested. Sending or automation is included only when explicitly scoped.
- A documented handoff. Check mobile usability, required fields, confirmation behavior, routing, and receipt of an authorized test inquiry. Record any unresolved issue.
- A simple measurement plan. Agree what to record before launch and what to compare afterward.
Technical feasibility is reviewed before the proposal. The written scope identifies exactly which items are included, the revision allowance, responsibilities, and completion criteria.
What leaving the gap unresolved can cost
The time you spent earning attention is wasted when an interested visitor cannot take the next step. Delayed replies can leave potential customers uncertain. Repeated explanations can take time away from paid work and family.
Start with your own records: How many inquiries arrived in the last 30 days? How many received a response? How many became qualified conversations or booked work? Where you have no reliable data, establish a baseline first.
We will use those answers to choose the improvement. We will not assign a made-up revenue value to every visitor.
A small project with a clear finish
- Check fit. Share your website, service, and main inquiry problem.
- Agree the project. Review a written proposal with a fixed scope, quoted price, delivery schedule, payment terms, and support boundaries.
- Build and verify. Complete the agreed work and review the inquiry path together.
- Measure actual use. Track inquiries, qualified conversations, proposals, booked jobs, response time, and the time needed to manage the process. Compare similar periods and note changes in traffic or seasonality.
A full website rebuild, advertising, ongoing sales outreach, software fees, and continuing maintenance require a separate agreement. The pilot is quoted separately from the $5,000 private strategy engagement.
No booking volume, sales total, search ranking, or income outcome is guaranteed. Your offer, demand, traffic, availability, and follow-through all affect results.

Website lead capture: common questions
What is website lead capture?
Lead capture gives an interested visitor a way to share their contact information and service request. A clear inquiry form or booking route helps you understand what they need and respond. Follow-up keeps the conversation moving after that first inquiry.
Do I need a new website?
The pilot starts with your existing website and tools. We review whether one service page and its inquiry process can be improved without a full rebuild. Technical feasibility and any required software are confirmed in the proposal.
Does this include advertising or guaranteed leads?
The focus is helping visitors already reaching your website understand your offer and inquire. Advertising and ongoing traffic generation require a separate scope. No number of leads or bookings is guaranteed.
How much does the pilot cost?
You receive a written quote after a fit review. The proposal identifies deliverables, price, schedule, revisions, and support before payment. This implementation pilot is separate from the $5,000 strategy engagement.
Will customer follow-up be automated?
The proposed scope includes three follow-up message drafts. Automated acknowledgment or sending depends on the agreed platform, sender setup, and written scope. Your business remains responsible for answering inquiries.
How will we measure improvement?
Record inquiries, response times, qualified conversations, proposals, and booked work. If reliable visit counts are available, compare the share of visits that become inquiries. Use comparable periods and account for changes in traffic, demand, and seasonality.
